THE YOUNG EXPLORERS' DIFFERENCE:

PARENT RAVES

HERE ARE A FEW COMMENTS FROM OUR FAMILIES

"When told we were expecting twins, we knew that Young Explorers day care would help us provide a great start for their lives. We knew this because our three year old has become such an intelligent, social child, in part, because of the influence of the staff at Young Explorers. We have appreciated the staff at the Streetsboro location for their kindness and knowledge. We are confident that our children are in a safe, caring, and enjoyable environment every day, and we feel fortunate that such a wonderful center is so conveniently located for us."

"The teachers and the facilities are outstanding. Paige loves all of her teachers and we love how easy they are to work with. And their hugs are evident that they care about Paige. One of the things that she loves most is playing in the gym and sliding down the large spiral slide; that is the first thing she tells us everyday. She learns so much and that she gets to interact with children her own age. The children at the school are the only kids she feels comfortable around, so she probably considers them, and the teachers, part of her extended family. We are so happy and fortunate to have Young Explorers in Streetsboro. The facility, teachers, and the students are wonderful and provide the perfect environment for Paige to spend her days. Young Explorers provides so much more than the other schools in the area and it is comparable in price. While we were searching for daycares, we were getting worried that we would find nothing we liked because so many of the other locations were dirty, small, and not inviting. We also almost didn't look at Young Explorers because we assumed we couldn't afford it, but we are so glad we decided to!"

"My two sons, ages 3 and 1, have been going to Young Explorers day care since they were 12 weeks old. Unlike some other day care centers, the teachers here really do "teach"; each class has a set curriculum and the children are challenged each day to learn and grow. The teachers are also very loving and caring - in fact, when my 1 year old recently moved up to the next classroom, his teacher cried because she was going to miss seeing him every day. In addition, they take pride in keeping the facility clean and organized, not to mention sanitized; which is just another reason why we choose to send our children here. We love Young Explorers, and are grateful that our children also love it and are excited to go to "school" every day!"

"The staff is very trustworthy and I have no worries that my child is being well cared for and loved all day long. She loves her Circle Time and playing in the large gym with the spiral slide. Hailey has learned so much and the teachers are great at working with each child individually, as well as in a group which is the heart of the Montessori method. I think it is great that the children learn about EVERY holiday and special events. This makes them well-rounded in their education."

"When we moved to Aurora 2 years ago we were worried about the change in daycare for our two kids; Ryan & Sarah. Since being with Young Explorers the kids have flourished socially, academically and creatively! The family atmosphere that YE provides makes it so easy to drop the kids off; they (as well as I) have formed some great relationships with the teachers, kids and other Young Explorer's families that I know will continue well beyond our years here! "

"Young Explorers has provided an amazing learning environment that is both fun and safe for my children. My son has several life-threatening food allergies, and the staff has bent over backwards to keep him safe. Their careful attention to our special needs has brought me much needed peace of mind when I'm away."

-Ms. Jaylene Hohman, daughter Grace, 4 and son Tyler, 1

"My Daughter started at Young Explorers day care at the young age of 14 weeks and like any new parent, I was nervous to be without her and to leave her in the care of others. Ms. Emma and Ms. Theresa immediately calmed my fears and made my husband and me feel so comfortable. After meeting them and leaving our daughter there for the first time, I never felt nervous again. All of the teachers at Young Explorers are so incredibly warm and friendly. I walk in there every day and feel good about where my daughter is. My husband and I are so happy with the strides she's made in learning a variety of skills. It's amazing to see her growth in the short time she's been there. I can't imagine her being anywhere else. Thank you to everyone at Young Explorers for all that you do and for caring so much!"

-Ms. Kim Anderson, daughter Brooklyn, 1

"Thank you for making my daughter's transition to school a smooth one. Ms. Whitney has been exceptionally welcoming and flexible. I feel assured that my daughter is safe and well cared for during the day. I'm excited to see how she will blossom this school year."

-Ms. Megan Holtz, daughter Elise, 2

"Young Explorers has been a wonderful experience for my two sons, aged 2 and 5. First of all the facility and curriculum is top notch. The facility was very well designed and decorated. It is bright, cheery, and clean. It has an indoor and outdoor play area. The indoor play area is a must for the cold winters. The outdoor play area has two areas; one for the older children and one for the younger children. Young Explorers also has a music room with a great music program. My two-year old especially loves music class and is always singing new songs at home. Both my boys learned so much at an early age. Before they even start preschool they know their shapes, colors, alphabet, counting (Spanish and English). I’m very impressed by what the teachers are able to do! "

-Ms. Morgan Jacob, sons Lucas, 5 and Ryan 2

"I know that when I drop Jacob off for pre-school he is in a safe, nurturing, and clean environment. Anytime I have ever dropped in or attended a class party I have always been warmly greeted by whomever I come in contact with. I recommend Young Explorers to anyone with preschool age children in the area or anyone looking for an excellent school. Jacob also likes reading, art activities, and playing with his friends in the large gym or outside on the playground. I have really noticed a positive change in Jacob since preschool started in the fall. He was always independent but he has become even more so and his vocabulary has really expanded. He is very inquisitive and wants to know how everything works...lots of questions! :) At first I thought the 9-3 time slot was long but since Jacob didn't nap anymore I figured we would try it. He seemed to do really well right from the start. I feel that this will prepare him for all day kindergarten."

"Your staff is SUPERB! They are so unbelievably caring; they set expectations for the children that the children strive to reach. Audrey has blossomed over the past 4 years that she has been at your center. Ms. Tonya and Ms. Ann we are forever grateful for the assistance in building Audrey's foundation, they had such a positive influence on us all. What wonderful caring, joyful, thoughtful ladies. Audrey was thrilled to go to school every day, not one day did she ever say I do not want to go. Even on Saturday's she would be disappointed because she didn't get to go to school!!!! Thank you for making our kickoff to Audrey's education a phenomenal experience.....we love them all!!!! "

-Ms. Vicki Anderson Gregg, daughter Audrey, 5

"I want to thank you and your staff for how wonderful you all are. It has been a difficult transition as a mom to start my son in a day care. No matter my worries or concerns, I have loved how everyone is so kind and patient with Logan and calms my anxiety. Please tell Ms Vanessa that I loved seeing the pictures of Logan playing yesterday. It made my day to know and see that he was having so much fun! Thank you to Ms Vanessa and Ms Joy for a wonderful first few weeks at daycare. I know it's taking some time for Logan to warm up, but I can even see some of his learning expanding already! (He even is using the potty on his own recently!!) I was nervous to start Logan, because he's so sensitive and quite clingy, and I was a little anxious at how he would react to his new environment. I appreciate the patience and care that you have shown to him. How comforting it is to know he's in great care while at work! "
